Should the Government Provide Free Child Care?
The government should not endorse in free child care for working parents. If the government were to do so, parents would be carelessly having children because they know they can leave their children at a child care service all day at no cost. The workers would be overwhelmed with the amount of children that they have to care for. There will need to be more employees to supervise all of the children as well. This can create national debt in our Country. Another major supporting issue is that children would be more prone to illnesses. I believe that parents are relying too much on the government for help for their own children. If both parents are working, they should be able to afford the cost of child care. If there would be any exceptions allowing Government funded daycare, it should be limited to single parent households that meet an low income criteria. Due to the fact that the daycare would be limited to society, it would also divide our Country more away from debt.
